• Study on behalf of DG TAXUD with a view to defining the requirements for claiming actual indirect emissions in the context of CBAM (Project language: English; 2024-2026).
• Analysis of the EU-wide GO market, and analysis of options for a union-wide green energy label with a view to promote the use of renewable energy from new installations for DG ENER (Project language: English; 2024-2026).
• Monitoring of direct marketing for renewable electricity in Germany, for German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate (Project language: German; 2019-2025).
• Support of the European Commission (DG ENER and DG ENV) on the development of guidelines for the public procurement of high-quality renewable electricity and on options for a union-wide green energy label (Project language: English; 2015-2017; 2019-2020)
• Analysis of the performance of administrative and grid connection processes that are necessary for the realization of renewable energy projects in Europe, and development of policy recommendations based on identified best practice and further research for DG ENER in the scope of the RES Simplify project (Project language: English; 2020-2023).

Berufserfahrung

Nach Abschluss seines Studiums war Dominik Seebach für ein Jahr am ifeu-Institut in Heidelberg tätig. Dort befasste er sich im Auftrag des Umweltbundesamtes mit der Analyse politischer Instrumente zur Förderung von Stromeffizienz. Nach einer kurzen Zeit als Trainee bei der DG Joint Research Centre der Europäischen Kommission in Ispra, Italien, wechselte er im Juli 2005 als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter zum Öko-Institut nach Freiburg.
