Katja Moch is Senior Researcher the Sustainable Products & Material Flows division of Öko-Institut. Her research focuses on hazardous substances in products and product policy approaches. With this background, Katja Moch has long been involved with the textile product group. Currently, Katja Moch is leading the R&D project on “The new Ecodesign Regulation: requirements for the ecodesign of textiles and the possible transfer to an ecodesign label” on behalf of the German Federal Environment Agency and the project on possible derogations for a prohibition on the destruction of unsold apparel and footwear for the European Commission.
