"Support for the implementation of the battery passport as regards access to certain parts of it" under framework contract No ENV.B.3/FRA/2023/0012 “Framework Contract on the Circular Economy and Waste to Resources

This consortium shall support the European Commission (EC) over 18 months, by latest 18 August 2026, in preparing the implementing act for the EU battery passport. In particular, the project team shall identify stakeholder needs for data accessibility and the legal aspects and consequences of such data access. The results from this work shall support the Commission in drafting the implementing act for the battery passport. This task shall be tackled over four main tasks, and the Interim Report shall document the results of the research. The consortium shall further support the Commission as it drafts the implementing act through ad-hoc tasks during the last six months of the contract. This ad-hoc work shall pull on the stakeholder consultations, research and assessments performed in the first project year
