Scientific support project for the Climate Neutral Power System Platform

In order to discuss possible reforms of the electricity market in a structured manner and to consider the main fields of action, the "Platform for a Climate-Neutral Electricity System" was set up. This platform develops concrete options and proposals, enabling broad involvement of stakeholders from politics, science, industry and civil society.

Within the framework of this project, the work of the “Platform for a Climate-Neutral Electricity System” is supported by a scientific consortium. For this purpose, scientific background analyses, modelling and short studies are produced. Within the consortium, Oeko-Institut is responsible for work in the two areas of expanding and integrating flexibility options and financing capacities for covering residual load.
