Trafo 3.0 - Governance model for socio-ecological transformation processes in practice: development and testing in three areas of application

From the viewpoint of sustainability, there is an urgent need and time pressure to achieve a change of direction towards more sustainable production and consumption patterns. Although there are many individual initiatives, there is a lack of methodical design approaches which might result in fundamental transformations. In this respect there is a great social need of systemically oriented and tried-and-tested recommendations for forms of successfull design and governance of transformation processes on a small and medium scale. Against this background, a model for the initiation and design of socio-ecological transformation processes in social and business practice was being developed and tested in collaboration with practice partners under the project.
