Preparation of the EU eighth National Communication and fifth Biennial Report under the UNFCCC

The project team supports the European Commission in the preparation of the 8th National Communication and the 5th Biennial Report of the European Union, which is to be submitted under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The report summarises the European Union’s current and projected greenhouse gas emissions, its mitigation policies and measures, its adaptation efforts, support provided to developing countries and efforts in the area of research, education and public awareness related to climate change.
