Policies to enforce the transition to Nearly Zero-Energy buildings in Europe

The ENTRANZE project aims to support the Member States of the EU in implementing the requirements of the EPBD as well as the building-related requirements of the Renewable Energy Directive in as integrated a way as possible. Within the framework of a participatory process, the responsible political circles are supported in developing integrated packages of measures to achieve a stronger penetration of the lowest energy building standard. Qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods are used to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of various instrument approaches. The project focuses on existing residential buildings and existing public-sector buildings.
