Keeping it credible: Robust accounting for Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement

The study addresses specific questions identified in the UNFCCC negotiations as requiring further technical work to enable the timely implementation of Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement:

1. Elaboration of different possible emissions trading accounting approaches.

2. Comparison of the implications of different accounting approaches for key design features towards the achievement of key policy objectives.
