Interactions between the existing and reformed EU Emissions Trading Scheme and energy and CO2 taxes

The project provides a fit-for-purpose, flexible and scientifically sound analysis of the EU's Fit for 55 reform proposals, with a focus on EU emissions trading, carbon pricing and energy taxes. Concrete implementation options and their potential social and economic impacts are examined. The analysis is based on current qualitative and quantitative evidence and takes into account the evolving positions of member states and key stakeholders in the affected economic sectors and regions.
