Integrating blue hydrogen value chains into the PTX Business Opportunity Analyzer tool

The PTX Business Opportunity Analyzer (PTX-BOA) tool developed by Oeko-Institut supports policy makers in potential PtX exporting countries to understand the potential of hydrogen and its derivatives and to develop policies that facilitate sustainable investments in PtX value chains. In the current project, the team is expanding the tool to include blue (natural gas-based) value chains. The enhanced tool can then identify greenhouse gas emissions of the individual value chains and calculate and compare production costs.
