Indo-German Financial Cooperation - Scoping Assignment Solid Waste Management

In 2018, the Indian Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and the German Development Bank KfW considered co-operation in the field of municipal solid waste management and circular economy. In this planning phase, the interdisciplinary project team was assigned to identify key factors for a successful solid waste management project in the Indian context and to develop first ideas and outlines for a feasible financial co-operation project. Main element of the assignment was a filed assessment of solid waste management practices and success factors in selected Indian cities in January 2019.
