Implementation of international regulations in the German regulation system for nuclear waste management facilities

The Western European Nuclear Regulator Association (WENRA), an organisation of European regulating agencies, strives to harmonise the regulatory framework. Germany has committed themselve to improve and implement the regulatory framework. The project deals with this improvement of the national regulatory framework in the area of supply and waste management facilities and activities. Oeko-Institute assists that process, provides proposals and works on draft texts that are useful for serving advisory boards of WENRA (WGWD) and BMU.
