Expert support for climate negotiations relating to air and maritime transport

The greenhouse impact of international aviation and maritime transport is significantly increasing in absolute and relative terms. As a result, the greenhouse impact of both sectors should be addressed in the form of two global market-based sectoral agreements. Within the scope of the project, options for such mechanisms were discussed and concrete text proposals were elaborated for international negotiations under the UNFCCC.
