Updating of six product guidelines for sustainable procurement

In the past, Oeko-Institut, together with the Landesanstalt für Umwelt Baden-Württemberg (LUBW), has produced guidelines and product guides for environmentally friendly and socially responsible purchasing in municipalities for various products and services. These were revised after agreement between the LUBW and the Ministry of the Environment Baden-Württemberg so that they could be used in the future not only for municipalities but also for the state administration Baden-Württemberg. In addition the contents were updated if necessary.

Specifically, the following signposts were updated within the framework of the project:

Guide to communal catering (previously unpublished)

Old paper with new life! Product guide recycled paper

Clean thing! Guide to sustainable cleaning services

Procuring green electricity! Guide to purchasing green electricity

Clever reorder! Guide for the procurement of sustainable office consumables

Become quieter! guide to the procurement of low-noise construction machinery, tools and vehicles
