The new Ecodesign Regulation: requirements for the ecodesign of textiles and the possible transfer to an ecodesign label

The aim of the research project is, on the one hand, to develop possible graduated ecodesign requirements for textiles, to transfer these into an ecodesign label and to accompany the European processes within the framework of the new European Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation for the product group textiles. This includes accompanying and commenting on a possible European preparatory study for textiles and providing technical expertise for the Federal Environment Agency in commenting on implementation measures proposed by the European Commission. On the other hand, the project is to accompany and evaluate the work around the European process on PEFCRs for textiles.
