Support with the preparation of the environmental report as part of the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the National Waste Management Program 2025

The National Waste Management Program (NaPro) is to undergo a Strategic Environmental Assessment in 2025. In preparation, we are drawing up an explanatory document in consultation with the Federal Ministry to define the scope of the assessment, which will serve as a basis for discussion and comments by the authorities involved. We are also preparing a draft environmental report, which will be made available to the public as a document supplementing the NaPro - both nationally and across borders. We will then incorporate the comments and prepare a final version of the environmental report in consultation with the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).
