Technische Analyse zu Ökodesign-Anforderungen für „Eisen und Stahl“

The project supports the development of ecodesign requirements for iron and steel under the ESPR. It focuses on five core intermediate steel products and analyses these products together with selected end-product groups for Green Public Procurement, including commercial vehicles and trains, clean technologies, and heavy industrial machinery, while excluding the construction segment. It examines the scope of the relevant products, analyses data gaps and market developments, and provides the technical basis for validating, quantifying, and further developing policy options, as well as for assessing their economic, environmental, and social impacts.
