Technical support to the adoption of delegated acts and Commission reports related to the new Batteries Regulation between 2024 and 2027

This consortium supports the European Commission (EC) over 24 months in preparing the technical specifications and/or recommendations for legal text for certain delegated acts and technical reports. The four Tasks within the project shall each address different articles of the Batteries Regulation and assist in preparing for the specified legal acts or reports:

• Task 1: Support to the adoption of a delegated act pursuant to Article 11;

• Task 2: Support to Article 63 – report on deposit return systems for batteries;

• Task 3: Further support to Article 59/60 – delegated act on AfC methodology and to Article 76 – implementing act on reporting from Member States to the Commission; and

• Task 4: Further support to Article 9 – economic assessment for minimum value for performance/ durability for portable batteries of general use.
