Technical support for the determination of the Union-wide quantity of ETS2 allowances for 2027 in the context of Framework Service Contract EEA/CET/22/001

In this project, Öko-Institut is revising and developing a methodology to estimate the 2016 to 2018 emissions in the scope of the ETS 2. These emissions will form the basis for the calculation of the cap in the ETS 2. The methodology uses data from national greenhouse gas inventories, Eurostat and other information by Member States through questionnaires and interviews.
