Support in the assessment of the long-term strategies of EU Member States

This project supports DG CLIMA in the assessment of Member States’ long-term strategies (LTSs), and in the assessment of the collective achievement associated with the Strategies. The specific objectives are:

To review the national long-term strategies and prepare assessment fiches which report on their contents, for each Member State;

To extract the quantitative information reported in the strategies;

To provide a Union-wide overview of key elements in LTS;

To aggregate reported information to determine the collective performance for the achievement of EU targets for greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption and renewable energies.
