Support for the preparation of the first progress report, the evaluation and the review of the regulation (EU) 2019/631 (CO2 emission standards for cars and vans)

The project aims to assist the European Commission in preparing the first progress report, as well as in the evaluation and review of Regulation (EU) 2019/631 (CO₂ emission standards for passenger cars and vans), specifically with regard to: - the technical analysis of specific elements to be included in the first progress report on the path towards zero-emission road transport (Article 14a of the Regulation); - the economic analysis of the EU automotive sector; - the technical analysis of specific elements of the evaluation of the Regulation in accordance with the guidelines on better regulation - the review of the Regulation provided for in Article 15(1), in particular the impact assessment - the public consultation to be carried out in connection with the above-mentioned evaluation and review; - ad hoc issues relating to the implementation or review of Regulation (EU) 2019/631
