Support for SMEs on mineral supply chain due diligence – maintenance phase (conflict minerals)

One of the aims of this project is to maintain the EU due diligence ready! portal to keep it up to date regarding content, including translation the new content into 7 languages. The portal is meant to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to the Regulation (EU) 2017/821 (hereafter Regula-tion). This means to only replace and update content, that no more match reality because of policy developments or changed event calendar. Another aim is to carry out networking activities to get an overview regarding the implementation of the Regulation by SMEs, NCAs and business associations as well as taking care of questions sent to the functional mailbox contact@due-diligence-ready.eu. The networking contains contacting NCAs to get their current status in preparing for the enforcement of the regulation and to repeat the survey of the previous project to see the improvement of the SMEs regarding their preparation for the Regulation and the help that the portal provided. Lastly a communication campaign to raise awareness for the portal to reach as many SMEs as possible is part of the project. The last aim is to provide advice regarding the regulation to answer specific questions that were directly sent to the homepage and to help SMEs, business associations and NCAs to answer questions that were directed to them.
