Study on the contribution of forests and available forest biomass to climate protection in Germany up to 2045/50

Agora Agrar developed the two LULUCF scenarios, 'Agora Efficiency' and 'Agora Base.' Oeko-Institut provided content-related consultancy to Agora Agrar during the development process. Subsequently, the assumptions made in the scenarios were parameterized by Oeko-Institut in the FABio-Land, FABio-Forest, and FABio-Biomass models, and the LULUCF sector was modelled up to 2045. A focus was placed on forest modeling using the newly available data from Germany's 4th National Forest Inventory.
