Study on land-sourced litter (LSL) in the context of the initiative on marine litter established by Plastics Europe and European Plastics Converters (EUPC)

The goal of this project is to gather new high-quality data from a detailed literature review regarding the present situation of LSL in the Mediterranean Sea, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Furthermore, the new data analysis may also serve as a new long-term reference and provide a solid basis for internal discussions and strategies to be performed in sub-sequent phases of the project. Moreover, the study aims to display possible research and implementation activities of the different stakeholders in the field of LSL.
