In-depth analysis "Emission reduction targets for international aviation and shipping"

A budget of 1,000 Gt of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions remains to avoid a global temperature increase of more than 2°C compared to pre-industrial levels. To stay within this carbon budget, all sectors need to contribute to global GHG reduction efforts.
