Heat storage chapter of the integrated storage strategy

T he project includes support services in producing the heat storage chapter as part of Germany's integrated storage strategy. This includes heat storage in district heating and decentralised heat storage in buildings (including building mass) and in trade and industry. Within the project, Oeko-Institut is working on the topic of heat storage in district heating. The current status of expansion and the technical and economic potential of different heat storage solutions are analysed and key approaches are derived. The results are summarised in a chapter of the integrated storage strategy.
