Further Development of Berlin’s Material Flow, Greenhouse Gas and Environmental Assessment (SKU26)

The project aims to further develop Berlin’s Material Flow, Greenhouse Gas and Environmental Assessment (SKU Assessment) to address the changing requirements associated with the transition from waste management to a circular economy. The focus is on refining the assessment methodology, improving data collection and processing, and developing suitable indicators for evaluating waste management and circular economy performance. In addition, the project assesses material flows and their climate and environmental impacts. The results are presented in a transparent and comprehensible manner and made available in a reusable digital format. The project thus provides a basis for monitoring Berlin’s circular economy and supporting political decision-making.
