Expert support for the review by the Commission concerning the implementation of ICAO’s CORSIA, and for Commission reports on certain types of flights, social impacts, and the air connectivity of islands, remote territories and Iceland

The project supports the European Commission in reviewing the environmental integrity of ICAO’s Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) and its implementation by third countries. In addition, the project analyses the air connectivity of islands and remote territories, including Iceland, and the environmental and climate impacts of short-haul flights, private- and business jet flights and options to mitigate them.
