Evaluation of the Swiss emissions trading scheme

This evaluation of the Swiss emissions trading system combines two approaches: an ex-post evaluation of the impact of the emissions trading system in the first trading period (2013-2020); and an ex-ante analysis of possible future developments and the impact on companies. The study combines various methodological approaches: literature reviews, data analyses, survey of all companies participating in the ETS and case studies including interviews.
