Development of a climate action strategy plan for Baden-Wuerttemberg

The project aims to develop a climate policy action programme for Baden-Württemberg, identifying specific policy measures that will support the energy transition on the fedarel level. The focus is on qualitatively assessing the state's potential contribution to the goals of phasing out nuclear power, reducing CO emissions, doubling energy productivity, and expanding the use of renewable energy sources and combined heat and power generation. The measures focus on the electricity and heating sector, as well as fields of action within the state's remit, considering interactions with federal and municipal measures. A total of 20 specific measures are proposed in the areas of the built environment, energy generation and conversion, saving electricity in households, and energy efficiency in industry, commerce, and the public sector.
