Developement and Review of European Nuclear Safety Standards and Requirements with respect to implementation in the German Regulatory System - Benchmarking and Peer Review

The Physikerbüro Bremen (PhB) is supporting the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) on questions of the state-of-the-art of science and technology concerning specific aspects arising in the context of the Reactor Harmonization Working Group (RHWG) of the Western European Nuclear Regulators’ Association (WENRA) and the implementation in the German regulatory system. The Oeko-Institute is addressing specific questions on behalf of the PhB with respect to the implementation of safety reference levels and the concretion of safety requirements and recommendations in different topics.
