Comprehensive review of Member States' greenhouse gas inventories in 2025 under the Effort Sharing Regulation and capacity building in the effort sharing sectors

The project team supported the European Environment Agency in the review of the greenhouse gas inventories of EU Member States. Experts from Oeko-Institut acted as the lead reviewer (reponsible for quality control of review questions in multiple sectors) and the sector expert for industrial processes and product use. The review supports the tracking of progress of EU Member States towards their greenhouse gas emission targets under the Effort Sharing Regulation.
