Learning climate action from abroad

[Translate to English:] Von Erfahrungen und Wissen anderer Länder lernen.

Be it about energy poverty or energy efficiency, electric vehicles or renewable energies. The climate action topics on which we can learn from the experience and knowledge of other countries are many and varied. For this issue of eco@work we’ve taken a trip around the world, looking at projects that may inspire action here at home. Looking abroad is not a matter of carbon-copying ideas or projects. It is more about finding inspiration in them for one’s own efforts. Our scientists at the Oeko-Institut often analyse projects and initiatives transcending national boundaries, not least in order to gain leverage from their insights here at home. In our interview with Dr Kristina Eisfeld at the Climate Alliance, we further speak about why international cooperation is so vital for climate action.
