This web seminar will discuss how transport poverty can be understood and addressed through socially just and effective approaches. Representatives from the European Commission, civil society and municipalities, will discuss how guidelines set by the EU can translate into practical, context-sensitive solutions. The discussion will explore the applicability of current definitions and indicators of transport poverty, approaches to identifying vulnerable groups, and the role of funding instruments in supporting equitable mobility. Good practices and actionable measures that enhance access to clean, affordable, and inclusive transport will be shared.
