Attribution of new activity codes for installations with old codes in the EEA’s EU ETS data viewer

All installations for which old codes are reported in the EUTL have been translated following the method described in this document for the display in the EEA EU ETS data viewer. This allocation can only be an expert guess, as more detailed information by installation can lead to different results because of the inclusion of several units under one installations, missing NACE codes or changes in activities. Nevertheless comparison of these new rules with operator changes of codes showed high consistency.
