Support to the Assessment of the Long-Term Strategies of EU Member States

This project supports DG CLIMA in the assessment of Member States’ Long-Term Strategies (LTS), and in the assessment of the collective achievement associated with these strategies. The specific objectives of the study are:

• To review the national long-term strategies and prepare assessment fiches which report on their contents, for each Member State;
• To extract the quantitative information reported in the strategies.

The consortium delivering the work is Ricardo Energy & Environment (lead), the Flemish Institute of Technologic Research, the Institute for Environmental Policy, Öko-Institut and Trinomics BV. This project is funded within a Framework Contract of the European Commission (DG CLIMA).
