Extended management

The extended management of the institute consists of all members of the Executive Board and one divisional manager from each of the institute’s research divisions. The heads of the Public Relations & Communications Department, the People & Development Department, the Finance & Accounting Department, the Tenders & Contracts Department and the IT Department take part in the meetings in an advisory capacity.

The extended management advises on matters that are of key importance for the institute and that require overarching divisional responsibility. These include considerations relating to the structure of the institute, the further development of the institute’s strategy as well as the institute’s communications and budget.
