Development of a methodological assessment approach to analyze the influencing factors and the significance of an interim storage facility for spent fuel elements for a region
Previous projects have shown that an extension of interim storage beyond the licensed 40 years has on the one hand effects on the operation of a storage facility, both in technical and in organisational terms, and on the other hand also impacts on the social level. In this research project, a methodological approach is therefore being developed to assess the potential impacts of an interim storage facility on a region. This approach should concretise especially relevant influencing factors.
