Determination of basics and evaluation methods of a life cycle assessment of the winter road maintenance service

The aim of the project is to develop a simple method for the life cycle assessment of winter road maintenance and to make it applicable to interested parties in the form of an intuitive Excel tool. The winter road maintenance service to be considered in the project includes winter road maintenance on motorways and federal trunk roads. The method developed should take into account the environmental impacts of winter road maintenance as comprehensively as possible and be oriented towards international standards on life cycle assessments. The project includes the development of the method, the development of the tool and a test phase. An Excel tool and a final report are presented as products.
