• Has been working at Öko-Institut since September 1980; current role: Chief Executive Officer
• Roles within the Öko-Institut up to June 2009 were:
• Member of Executive Board (since 1999)
• Head of Nuclear Engineering & Facility Safety Division (since 1983)
• Has been addressing security issues relating to nuclear power since 1975
• 1976 - 1982 Completed Diplom degree in Chemistry at the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt (now called the Technische Universität Darmstadt), specialising in chemical engineering
