The instituts Divisions are the pillars of its scientific activities. It is here that research is conducted, and it is here that new project ideas are developed. Each Division manages its budget largely autonomously and must be financially self-sustaining. This means that each must itself acquire, through commissions or grants, the funding it needs to carry out its work.
