Working for change - Research leading to sound action

We advise politicians, business people and civil society. Our 300 and more projects every year highlight ways of meeting the challenges of our time: the impacts of globalization and rapid social change.

We finance our work primarily through projects commissioned by public and private clients, yet we ourselves initiate projects of strategic and social importance as well. And that’s where we need your help. Become a member! You are supporting the financial independence of critical science.

As a member

• you can participate at reduced rates in our events.
• we will inform you about current issues, events and new studies.
• we are happy to give you a tour of our plus-energy office building in Freiburg, the Solar Ship.
• your membership fee is tax deductible.

You can choose between

• the annual membership fee of € 80,
• the concessionary rate € 35) and
• lifetime membership for a one-off fee of € 1.000. Lifetime membership saves you the annual administrative effort.
