EM Applications

Here you find information on world-wide EM applications with links to country databases, reports, contacts.

The application info is structured as follows:

• country data (application on the national level)
• utility planning (electric utility application)
• GHG analysis & mitigation (greenhouse gas modeling and reduction strategies)
• other (technology evaluation, emission standards, Local Agenda 21, World Bank SEA)

Country Data

The EM is used in more than 20 countries now (see Summary Table), and applications are still spreading. You can download an extended EM database which includes all country data (as available in mid-1999), and will find country databases and reports on the respective pages for the applications.
For the following country applications, a brief description is available, as well as special EM databases:
