Our members represent all types of cemeteries including municipal, religious, private and non-profit; historical and newly developed; active and inactive. Our members come from all six of the New England states and even beyond and subscribe to the association’s Code of Ethics

New Hampshire Cemetery Association
http://www.nhcemetery.org/   The purpose of the New Hampshire Cemetery Association is to promote the advancement of knowledge in the operation and maintenance of cemeteries, to facilitate the exchange of information, to create and maintain high ethical standards in cemetery administration, both active and historical, and to secure the advantage to be obtained by mutual cooperation. The New Hampshire Old Graveyard Association
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nhoga/   The New Hampshire Old Graveyard Association is a non-profit organization composed of genealogists, historians, cemetery officials and other interested individuals dedicated to preserving the historical graveyards of New Hampshire. Our bylaws can be
viewed here. We seek to promote the knowledge of New Hampshire History by bringing together people interested in old graveyards. We continue to foster an interest in the discovery, maintenance, records preservation and cataloging of graveyards and cemeteries. Contact: Jean Mertinooke, President - 24 Highland Road, Kensington, NH 03833-5850

 Massachusetts Cemetery Research
http://www.mass-doc.com/cemetery_research.htm Cemetery research in Massachusetts is probably one of the most unique research tools available to the family genealogist. Stones in some cemeteries date back to the early 17th century. Clues found in this type of research can help to positively prove relationships, find "unknown" relatives and provide birth and death information that has been forever lost.

Vermont Cemetery Association
http://www.vermontcemeteryassociation.org/ The fundamental purpose for which this association exists is to inspire continued effort toward the improvement of Vermont cemeteries. To this end it seems essential that we declare the principles and ethics upon which rests the successful administration of our affairs.

Maine Cemetery Association
